the 17th

Yes, ANOTHER month has come and gone. The days are going by much, much faster than I would like them to. Jer is 10 months today. And in three months from today, we are going to have a a four year old!

And He's Off

Jeremy has been doing things pretty much "on-schedule." I have not been too worried about hitting all of his milestones. In fact, I really preferred that he did not crawl. I don't like the crawling phase. It's dirty, messy, and you have to be super careful with everything around the house. As long as he was twisting, turning and pulling himself up, I just did not mind whether he crawled or not. Let's just say there are no gates up in our house and we are far, far away from any babyproofing. He totally took off today and the look in his eyes is scary. (sorry in advance about my annoying excited narration in the background.)

Should be interesting how long we stay in this phase - there is quite a bit of trying to stand and balance with no hands. And Jer is doing a pretty good job of it.

Finally, poor kid has four teeth coming in all at once right now. And bless his heart, continues to sleep right on through the night!

One on One

So, with baby #2, I find myself reflecting alot. For example, with Zach - the days seemed long, I didn't like being alone, and a baby just seemed hard. With baby #2, time goes by too quickly, all of the sudden one seems so easy, and I would do anything for some one on one time. Last week, I was lucky enough to take Zach out for pizza, salad and video games with my dad one night and I was able to spend some quality time with just Jeremy the night after. Had such a nice time with each of them individually. I think they both enjoyed the time as much as I did. Jer was in such a good mood. He kept dropping my keys on the floor. I would lean over, pick them up and say "Did you drop it?" And he would just crack up.

Soccer or Yoga

Zach is such an athletic kid. At 3.5, the kid can play almost any sport we throw at him. He is attentive, aggressive and intense. Seriously, he really loves to play sports. He is especially good at kicking the soccer ball and he is super quick. We thought he would really like to enroll in a tot soccer class. I don't know, maybe he was just having a bad day or it was too cold outside but the the first class was a bust. He looked cute but he just wasn't that into it.

So today, at preschool, I found out they offered Yoga during enrichment. We sent Zach and he was ELATED!! He said he wanted to go to Yoga everyday and when I turned around while I was getting dinner ready tonight, he was standing on his balancing like a pro.

Sagebrush Cantina

Last weekend we took the boys for pictures in Calabasas and wanted to get something to eat after. We realized we were very close to Sagebrush Cantina. We haven't been there in almost 6 years; since our rehearsal dinner. The last time we went there, it looked like a little like this...

And this time, it looked more like this. What a difference six years makes!! Oh my..
