Yo Gabba Gabba (again) ...

We didn't really have much to do the remainder of the weekend so we made a spontaneous trip to LA Live and saw Yo Gabba Gabba. Such a fun show for the kids and equally entertaining for the parents.

Thanksgiving

We have almost been here officially for a year and we still have not made it up to Santa Barbara until this weekend. We had a WONDERFUL morning with Sarah, Nick and Emmett! It was a gorgeous day, the beach was awesome, the zoo was cooler than I remember and the company was unparalleled. Such a nice morning! Thank you Savage Family! We really enjoyed your company.

Family Time

Happy 34th Birthday Josh!

We're getting up there ... We celebrated Josh's birthday last night at Cafe Firenze. It was really busy and pretty good. They had some great live music and amazing flourless chocolate cake. Happy Birthay Josh!

We're on the Way!

Josh, Zach and Jeremy were on their way to meet me at the mall yesterday. The Thousand Oaks mall is about a 7 minutes drive (only three of those minutes are on the freeway) It was about 11:30. I got a call from Josh informing me that they both fell asleep on the way there. And when they woke up, they ate all of his lunch. It was pretty classic; allowed me an impromptu two-hour treat at the mall with my mom!

Shabbat Ima and Abba

Josh and I were fortunate enough to both attend Zachy's Shabbat service on Friday! We sang songs, read books, recited the blessings and played with all of his friends. It's such a special day for the kids when their mom and dad get to come. They just eat it up. Following, they send home a "shabbat basket" with a challah cover, candle sticks, kiddush cup etc. So we had Shabbat Dinner at home that night; a tradition we would really like to stick to!

Abbie's 5th Birthday

We can not believe Abbie is 5. It feels like yesterday, these little bubba's we're chasing each other around on the tricycles. Abbie still has a special place in Zach's heart and I think she always will. Happy 5th Birthday Abbie!

Our New Tanaka

You all know how much I loved Tanaka Farms. The wagon rides, fresh fruit and veggies; amazing salsa! I miss that place. We have something pretty darn close to it on this neck of the woods. Enjoy Benny and Zachy eating some yummy spinach!
