East Coast Cousins

Unfortunately, we do not see our East Coast Cousins more than every 5-10 years. Fortunately, it never seems like much time as passed. We had a gorgeous lunch with Adam, Zimra and Ruby (who really is something else). Hope to see you all again very soon!

Mommy and Me

It's rare that I get Zach to stop for a moment and take a nice picture with me.  It's more like Me and Zach than Mommy and Me, but I'll take it!

VACA

Spent the weekend in Carlsbad.  Definitely thought Legoland would be a hit but Zach's a simple kid.  We should know better by now; he is happiest at the beach or the pool, with some good snacks and with friends or family.  Jeremy, on the other hand was fascinated with his blanket and the "monsters."  The boys were great on this trip.  Playful, Happy, Flexible and Easy!    We really had a lot of fun!

Check out how disgusting this is. Cheetos in one had and marshmellow stick in the other!

Soccer Shots

Funny Story. I showed up at daycare one day and Zach's teacher gave me a business card of a soccer coach. She said "The coach wanted me to give this to you, he really thinks Zach should play soccer." So I called the number on the card and the coach had no idea what I was talking about. I continued.... I explained the program at the school called soccer shots and the coach and the card etc. etc. A light bulb went off. "Oh, I have an under 7 (club soccer) team, Coach Chris told me about Zach, do you want to come out to practice?" Me: Um, he's 4.

Have I mentioned how athletic this kid is?

Afternoon with Nana and Grandpa aka "Papa"

We spend a lot of time with Nana and Grandpa.  They pick the kids up twice a week, babysit when needed and have us over a lot of weekend BBQ's.  We are so very lucky!
